Longest Night Remembrance Service – Sanctuary
Join us as we gather for a quiet service of prayer and contemplation for those who cannot find God at this time, or who need the space to lament losses in their lives as the world rushes around in joyful mirth. Bring a photo of your loved one to hang on our tree of remembrance, and light a votive for your loved one’s memory.
Organized by Public Worship.
Join us as we celebrate the arrival of the Christ Child and Jesus as our teacher, our redeemer, and savior from ourselves, giving us a love and light that we can find nowhere else but in God. We sing and pray our way through the Christmas Story, with our offering dedicated to the Veterans of the Cross (pastors who are retired but living in poverty and need financial assistance). Merry Christmas!
Sponsored by Public Worship
Since we will have just had a worship service of lessons and carols on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day service is cancelled so that we can enjoy the arrival of Jesus in our life and heart as you see fit – quietly, with friends and family, or wherever you happen to be in the world.
