Our church is governed by a Church Council, comprised of a Member at Large, Secretary, as well as a representative of the Board of Trustees and a representative from each ministry groups: Public Worship Ministry, Community Ministry, Missions Ministry, Christian Education and Evangelism Ministry. The Church Council is an oversight board meeting each month to review church business and activities, with ministry groups having the freedom to pursue their tasks with self-forming work teams as necessary.
The church holds an annual Congregational Meeting in the spring to discuss and approve the church budget, approve a slate committee nominees, and take any other votes on matters that require the congregation's discernment. The date of the annual meeting is advertised at least two weeks in advance so members and friends can plan to attend (only church members are able to cast votes but all are welcome).
